HM King Bhumibol asked the newly-sworn ministers to work with honesty deserving their posts and duties as ministers.
Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra, Prime Minister, led the 16 new appointed ministers to take the oath of allegiance before HM the King at the Chalerm Prakiat Building in Siriraj Hospital on January 18th, 2012.
HE Mr Aarak Chonlatanon was royally endorsed as a new Energy Minister in replacing of a former Mnister Pichai Naripthapan. Before assuming his post in a cabinet line-up of Prime Minister Yingluck, he was a CEO& Chairman of the Executives of Thaicom Plc. (THCOM). |

HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn proceeded to follow up the royal project progress of Tutiya Poh Anusorn Border Patrol Police School at Baan Jana, Mae Eye district in Chiang Mai where Mr.Thammayot Srichuai, DEDE Deputy Director-General, Miss Puchareeporn Hansakul, Director of Alternative Energy Development Bureau, and other officials gave a welcome. Thereafter, DDG Thammayot and official team went to visit and inspect DEDE Micro Hydropower Project for Village Level at Na Ma Oun and Doi Lang Project in Chiang Mai on January 17th, 2012.

Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra, Prime Minister, to preside the opening ceremony of “Energy Saving Goods (No.5 Label) Expo for Flood Victims Relief ’’ on December 27th, 2011 whereas Mr. Pichai Naripthaphan, Energy Minister, to give a report. There would be a distribution of discount coupon for purchasing such energy saving goods worth 2,000 baht per household, at a total of 2,000 million baht, which will cover Bangkok and 27 provinces affected by the 2011 flood. This Expo will be held during 27 December 2011 until 4 January 2012 at BITECH (the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre), Bang Na in Bangkok.
